General FAQ'S
Do you offer services for both household and business customers? Twin State offers storage for all sorts of different purposes. We have units with shelves to accommodate customers with files and such.
Are there moving trucks available for use? Our facility offers the rental of U-Haul trucks. Please call for information about the rental and possible promotions available.
Does Twin State Leasing have boxes and packing supplies? Twin State has a full line of packing & moving supplies from boxes and tape to bubble wrap and wrapping paper.
Do you have moving carts? Twin State has moving carts and dollies for your convenience located at each door.
When I get a storage unit, do I have to purchase my own lock? You can purchase a lock from Twin State Leasing & Storage or if you have your own, feel free to use that one.
What is the difference between indoor and outdoor units? Indoor units are accessable during our business hours and are climate controlled, outdoor units are outside with 24-hour access, all units are under video surveillance.
What kind of security do you offer? We have video surveillance, alarm system and onsite managers. The on-site managers are here during the business hours of the facility.
Am I renting the space month-to-month or am I on a lease? Your contract is a month-to-month agreement with Twin State. You can move out whenever you want.
How do I pay my monthly bill? We offer several different options to pay your monthly storage bill. You can pay cash, check or credit card. With the Autopay option for the credit cards, you can sign up to have you card charged at the beginning of every month. The card can be any of the following: Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.
Truck Rental
Are there different rental rates for different days of the week? Yes, usually during the week, prices are less expensive. Rates tend to go up at the end of the week through the weekend.
Is there a penalty for keeping the rental Truck longer then what i reserved it for? Yes, there are additional charges that will apply.
Is there somewhere that I need to bring the truck for after hour drop offs? If you are bringing the truck back after business hours, bring the truck to our location and there is a drop box outside our main door for the keys to be placed in.
Is there a deposit required to rent a truck? Yes, U-haul requires a $100.00 deposit.
Do I have to return the truck when I am done? Yes, we do not offer a truck pick-up service.
Am I responsible for any speeding or traffic tickets? The driver of the truck is responsible for any speeding or traffic violations.
Who would I call should I have mechanical problems? At the top of your contract with U-Haul, there is a 24-hour roadside assistance toll free number.
Does the truck come with a hand truck and furniture pads? Each location rents hand trucks and furniture pads for an additional charge.
Is there a minimum age requirement to rent a truck and do I need a special license? To rent from U-Haul, you will need to be 18 years old and have a valid drivers license.
